The route for the Pezishla Woksuya Memorial Ride has been officially announced. Chief Arvol Looking Horse, the 19th Keeper of the White Buffalo Calf Pipe, will lead the 360-mile spiritual trek from South Dakota to Montana over fifteen days, arriving at the Little Bighorn battlefield on June 24, 2026.

The ride is a spiritual journey intended to honor those who lost their lives in 1876 and to demonstrate that the Lakota, Cheyenne, and Arapaho are "still here" 150 years later. Riders will travel through historic sites and communities along the route, with ceremonies and gatherings planned at each stop.

Organizers have described the ride as the centerpiece of the 150th commemoration. Community members interested in participating — either as riders or in support roles — are encouraged to contact the organizing committee.
